Community Economic Development (CED) is best described as a series of supports that include businesses, non-profit organizations, and tourism. Councils that prioritize community economic development (CED) are better positioned for sustainability and growth. It acknowledges that our volunteers, the people who live here, businesses, non-profits, council, and staff all have a role to play in supporting the community and continuing to offer an excellent quality of life!

The Municipality of Bossevain-Morton Council recognizes the importance of a comprehensive CED plan. The Council's vision, combined with the community vision captured through the Quality of Life Survey 2024, the BREI (Business Retention and Expansion Initiative), and the School Survey, all inform the CED plan.

The CED plan is a living document that is regularly updated. The documents supporting that plan will be posted here as soon as they are available, and the 2025 plan as soon as it is approved.
